He’s just not that into you
I finally had the chance to watch this movie. I’ve been wanting to see it for the longest time! Let me first mention that Scarlett Johansson is freaking gorgeous! She is sooo beautiful/sexy. I think she’s number one on my list now. I can’t wait to see her in Iron Man 2.
The lessons in the movie are pretty accurate. At least from my perspective, I find most to be true. Here are some of the lessons from the movie:
He’s just not that into you, if he’s not calling you
True. If I am into a girl I would call/contact her right after our date. If you are waiting for his call for more than three days, you should give up. He’s just not that into you. It’s really obvious when a guy is into you. You should never find yourself staring at your phone waiting for it to ring. You’ll never see you hating yourself for calling him when you know you shouldn’t have.
He’s not that into you if he’s a selfish jerk, a bully, or a big freak
Love is blind. I have so many friends who are dating the biggest jerks. Some women find pleasure from being treated badly, and they should all wake up! Many also believe that they can “change” their man into a better man. Trust me, he’s not going to change… The relationship is unhealthy. Move on, you all deserve better.
Stop lying to yourself
People are often in denial. We constantly try to put lame excuses to why he/she is not calling or treating you badly. THEY’RE JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU! Also if you have any doubts about your partner, the relationship is not working. I believe “trust” is the key to a healthy and successful relationship. So if you have any doubts, don’t avoid it. Those doubts will all come back to you and slap you in the face.
One thing I disagree with
The movie made it seem as if men should always be making the first move. I disagree. Women shouldn’t have second thoughts about making a move. I personally would be impressed and flattered if a woman made her move first.
There are exceptions
Forget the game. Sometimes the rules don’t even apply. I personally don’t follow the rules at all and just do whatever I feel (this is probably why I’m currently single…haha).
There are many small details in the movie that my lady friends found very informative. You all should definitely watch the movie! It is a pretty enjoyable movie for dudes too.
