Are we “Just Friends?”
I recently watched the movie “Just Friends,” a very funny movie that I highly recommend. The movie inspired me to write a post for the guys who are suffering from their female friends giving them mixed signs. There are just those ladies that you just can’t tell if she thinks of you as a friend or if she’s actually into you. You can’t get the courage to ask her out because of fear of losing the friendship. So here are some signs you should look out for.
6 Signs You’re Just Friends
- She pats you in the back when you hug her – This means that she’s uncomfortable hugging you.
- She says “I love you” all the time – This means she just loves you as a friend. If she is really in love with you it’ll take her a lot more courage to say it.
- She tells you about other guys she’s interested in – You’re just the guy she talks to about her crushes.
- She screams or gets overly excited when she sees you – They actually try to hide their excitement when they see the guy they’re into.
- You’re naturally nice – Chicks dig assholes. Nice guys finish last.
- She flirts with other guys in front of you - Yeah.. too bad man.
So how do you avoid falling into the “friend zone?” Here are a few tips.
- Be an ass – Like I mentioned before chicks dig the arrogance. They love the chase. But you can’t just be plain mean 24/7. Once in awhile you have to show her your soft and sensitive side. I can’t really explain why they like that. It’s just something I heard from my lady friends.
- Seal the deal within a month – Never spend too much time trying to pursue her. If you like her, take her out on a date. If you aren’t exclusive with her or did not make it to home base after three to five dates, mind as well forget her.
Now I’m no professional with the ladies. Just wanted to share what I know from experience and from talking to my lady friends. Correct me if I’m wrong, and if you have any other tips add to the list, let me know!
I am also not saying it’s impossible to date a girl after being friends. I’ve seen many couples form from being friends first. So if you have a friend that you have a crush on, be courageous and go for it!
Happy Hunting,
Hiro
