Waking Up in the Morning.
Waking up to a beautiful tune is the best! For about a year I have been using an application called “Alarm Clock” by Robbie Hanson (http://www.robbiehanson.com/alarmclock/index.html).

This app is available only for Macs but I’m sure there is a Windows version out there somewhere. Alarm Clock lets you set an alarm on your computer and have it play your favorite tunes in your iTunes playlist as your alarm. You can make it play a specific song or you can have it randomly select a song from a playlist. I created a playlist called “Wake up Tunes” and have the program select a random song from the playlist. Here are some songs in the playlist.
- Moon River – Frank Sinatra
- Banana Pancakes – Jack Johnson
- Gravity – John Mayer
- Claire de Lune – C. Debussy
- Ave Maria (after J.S. Bach) – Amy Butler & Mary Jane Newman
- No. 14 in C sharp minor, op. 27 no. 2 ‘Moonlight’ 2nd Move – Ashkenazy
- 143 – Musiq Soulchild
- Natural High – DNA6
I picked really mellow songs because I like to slowly get out of bed. When I wake up to the song I usually just lie in bed for another minute or so to enjoy the song. I highly recommend you to try this app out. It’s an excellent way to start the day.
Cheers,
Hiro
P.S – Sorry if I’ve been ignoring calls / emails for the past couple of days. I’ve been really sick. I’m feeling a lot better now!
